Red & Yellow Cards for Coaches

A head coach accumulating three (3) yellow cards will be suspended one

(1) game. A head coach accumulating five (5) yellow cards will be suspended an additional game. A sixth yellow card will result in an extra game suspension. Two (2) yellow cards in one (1) game equal a red card. The SCYSA has the right to examine a coach receiving a red card. Two (2) red cards is an automatic suspension of two (2) games. A third red card will result in the suspension for the rest of the season. Additional punishment can be issued by the SCYSA Board if it so deems necessary.

 

An assistant coach receiving two (2) yellow cards is suspended one (1) game. The SCYSA Board has the right to further punish the coach further. Another yellow card will result in another game suspension. A fourth yellow card will result in the suspension of that assistant coach.

An assistant coach receiving a red card will be suspended (3) games. A second red card will result in a season long suspension.

 

The Board has a right to issue further punishment in a case-by-case basis.
